1. What is a hostel?
Hostel- is a mini-room rentals for traveler,backpacker,transient people who like to drive to different cities, country,Board examiners or any transaction in metro manila for very affordable, cheap, budget - oriented, where guests can rent a bed, private room or usually a bunk bed, group room in a single unit, condominium unit or dormitory. They provide common areas as well as communal facilities.
2. Why stay in a hostel and not a hotel?
Hostels provide very affordable, cheap, budget-oriented, sociable accommodation than a hotel in heart of Metro Manila Philippines.
3.Check-in & Check-out time?
Check in - 02:00 PM Check out :-12:00 Noon. @ example : Rent for 1 night or 1 day on May 6, 2016 / Time arrive and Check in - 02:00 PM Noon May 6, 2016 / Time for her check out - 12:00 Noon May 7,2016
4. Can I check-in early or late?
The hostel is pleased to accommodate early arrivals upon request, subject to availability. Check-in between 6:00 AM – 12:00 NN and 12:00 NN - 6:00 PM will incur a whole- day charge. However, if your flight gets in during the wee hours in the morning, it would be best to book for an additional night to ensure that you would have a place to rest.
5. Can I check-out late?
Late check-out is also subject to availability. Whole - day rate will be charged when you decide to check-out from past 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. If you decide to check-out beyond 6:00 PM, a whole-day rate will be charged.
6. Do you have any age and nationality restrictions?
With the very nature of our business being a hostel, we accept everyone regardless of nationality. However, since some of rooms are on sharing basis, therefore, guests who wish to bring their children under 16 years of age must book a whole dorm or private room, with children under the age of 7 staying for free.
7. Do you provide luggage storage?
As of now, we do not provide luggage storage.
8. Cleaning Room request?
We will be charge PHP 100 per cleaning.
9. Change towels and linens free of charge?
Our policy we change bedding's,linens and towel every 4 days, request not more than 4 days will charge PHP 100 not including room cleaning.
10. Do you provide lockers?
We don't have provide lockers in all room that could fit full-sized luggage.
11. May I receive mail at your hostel?
As of now, we do not provide email receive transaction.
12. Are visitors allowed?
Visitors are strictly not allowed.
13. Do you provide any pick-up / shuttle service from and to the airport?
As of now, we do not provide transportation service.
14. Are there parking spaces at 8Hostel?
No but we are very near for pay parking lots.
15. Can you help us book tours and activities?
As of now, we do not provide book tours and activities.
16. Do you supply towels and linens free of charge?
Yes. Blankets, however, are only available upon request.
17. Do you have laundry facilities?
No. However, we could refer you to nearby laundry shops.
18. Does every room have a private shower and toilet?
Yes. all our room are equipped en suite bathroom and shower.
19. Are there any cooking facilities at 8Hostel?
Some of our Unit rooms and If you wish to buy food, we could recommend and call for free delivery nearby convenience stores, food chain and restaurants.
20. What should i prepare when i check in ?
Two ways to answer that question and the only difference between the two is if you have paid your reservation fees. If so or not, then just focus on the following things you need to prepare when you Check In to our property:
1. Identification Card
2. Reservation Payment
3. Full Payment upon check in
IDENTIFICATION CARD. The only ones we recognize are Government-Issued Identification Cards that have holograms in them and examples of these are the following:
1.Passport
2.Driver License
3.Universal Multi-Purpose ID (UMID)
4.Comelec ID
5.Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC)
6.SSS/GSIS ID Card
7.Public School Identification Cards
8.Valid NBI/PNP Clearance Documents
9. Postal ID
Unfortunately we do not allow the following:
1. BIR ID – No
2. PhilHealth ID – No
3. Other laminated cards
Laminated ID Cards can be reproduced and cannot be a stable form of identification. All cards must be valid (read: not expired) and that the image, information are readable and they’re signed.
SECURITY DEPOSIT. These are incidental deposits that you must make as a precautionary fund that the property may own if damages incur in the property that are but not limited to: stained linens, broken fixtures, and other similar incidents. After inspection of the premises, the guest can retrieve their deposits upon Check Out. Incidental Deposit is standard PhP500.00 or 15$
BOOKING PAYMENT. Depending on the reservation, each guest must pay their stay in the hostel. Payment must be 100% of the said booking made. Extensions of stay are okay provided there are still available beds that can be booked at a moment’s notice.

EXTENSION OF STAY
For guests who wish to extend their stay please informed as 2 days before end of your stay and depends room availability via online, cash payment must be made daily or paid in advance for the number of extended days.

PET POLICY
Bringing of pets is not allowed.
ILLICIT ACTIVITY
The hostel will report all suspected illegal activity to the appropriate authorities and reserves the right to refuse service to anyone suspected of involvement in such activity. Fire arms and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
PROPER ATTIRE
Guests must be in appropriate attire at all times within the vicinity especially in the common areas. Going topless or wearing underwear only is strictly prohibited.
INTOXICATION / CONDUCT
The Management reserves the right to take appropriate actions against drunk and unruly guests.

8Hostel does not assume liability for the loss, theft or damage to your luggage and belongings while on the premises.

Lost and found items can be claimed at the Reception. A valid ID must be presented.
